Women's Tennis

Men's and women's tennis both fall to Whitman

TACOMA, Washington – After starting the match by winning two out of three doubles matches, the Puget Sound women's tennis team was swept in singles competition as the Loggers lost to Whitman, 7-2, in the Tennis Pavilion Sunday. The Logger men lost on the road against Blues, 9-0.

Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche suffered a rare loss at No. 1 doubles, 8-2. However, Bridget Myers and Barclay Fagg won at No. 2 doubles, 8-4, while Lia Van Steeter and Alexis Choy won at No. 3 doubles, 8-6.

Owen won the second set at No. 1 singles, but she ultimately lost in three sets.

The Logger women finish the regular season at Linfield, April 21, and the men conclude the season by hosting Pacific Lutheran, April 20.
