Women's tennis dominates PLU, 8-1

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team dominated Pacific Lutheran, 8-1, in a Northwest Conference road match Friday evening.

The Loggers swept doubles competition, led by an 8-1 victory for Nicole Bouche and Lisa Owen at No. 1 doubles. Bridget Myer and Barclay Fagg won at No. 2 doubles, 8-5, and Lia Van Steeter teamed up with Alexis Choy for a No. 3 doubles victory by the same score.

Owen cruised to a No. 1 singles victory (6-1, 6-2), and Bouche blanked PLU at No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-0). Fagg was also well poised at No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-1). Van Steeter (No. 3 singles) and Avery Honaker (No. 4 singles) were also victorious.

Puget Sound hosts the College Idaho Sunday, April 7, at 1 p.m.
