Women's tennis makes it a 2-0 weekend with 8-1 win over Yotes

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team won its third consecutive match by defeating the College of Idaho, 8-1, in the Tennis Pavilion Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the day, the Puget Sound men's tennis team lost at home against Linfield, 9-0.

Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche teamed up to blank the Youtes at No. 1 doubles, 8-0. Barclay Fagg and Lia Van Steeter faired nearly as well at No. 2 doubles, clinching an 8-1 win. Avery Honaker and Alexis Choy won at No. 3 doubles, 8-4.

Owen (No. 1), Bouche (No. 2), Fagg (No. 3), Van Steeter (No. 4) and Kayla Richards (No. 6) each won their respective singles matches in two sets.
