TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team swept singles competition on its way to an 8-1 Northwest Conference win over Willamette in the Tennis Pavilion Saturday afternoon.
Lisa Owen, Bridget Myers, Barclay Fagg, Zoe Love, and Alexis Choy each won singles matches in two sets. Owen won at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-1), and Myers won at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-2).
Fagg blanked her counterpart in two sets at No. 3 singles. Love (No. 5 singles) and Choy (No. 6 singles) both won by 6-2, 6-2 margins.
Avery Honaker won her No. 4 singles match in three sets (5-7, 6-0, 10-7).
Owens and Myers cruised to an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while Love and Choy won by the same score at No. 3 doubles.
The Loggers continue their NWC schedule at home against Whitworth, March 1.
