WALLA WALLA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team was shut out by Whitman, 9-0, in Walla Walla Sunday.
Each singles match was decided in two sets. Mike Smolskis competed at No. 1 singles, and Aiden Velasco was in the No. 2 spot.
Smolskis and Paul Wallace teamed up at No. 1 doubles, where they lost 8-1. Velasco and Lowell Hutton competed at No. 3 doubles, but fell 8-2.
The men return home March 14 to host Pacific at 11 a.m.
