TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team lost at home against George Fox, 7-2, Saturday afternoon.
Lia Van Steeter and Andie Machida fought to an 8-6 win at No. doubles. Machida continued her outstanding season by winning at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-3). She has won at least one doubles or singles bout in all four matches this season.
Laura Schneidman battled through three sets at No. 5 singles, but came up just short.
The Loggers make the short tip to Parkland, Washington, March 27 to take on Pacific Lutheran.
