TAOMCA, Washington – Three Puget Sound men's tennis seniors finished their collegiate careers with a win at home Saturday afternoon. The Loggers beat Willamette, 7-2, in the 2021 season finale.

Aiden Velasco, Paul Wallace, and Joshua Wah-Blumberg were celebrated for paving the way for the Puget Sound program. Earlier this season, the Loggers won their first NCAA match since 2016. Saturday's win over Willamette marks the first time since 2014 that the Loggers finished a season with multiple NCAA victories.
Mike Smolskis and Rene Del Barco battled to an 8-7 win at No. 1 doubles. Smolskis also won at No. 2 singles.
Del Barco lost the first set at No. 3 singles, but he fought back to win it in three sets.
Julian Giomi continued his remarkable freshman campaign with a win at No. 4 singles. Nicholas Pulido was at No. 5 singles, and Levi Buck was victorious at No. 6 singles.
Pulido and Buck teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
