NEWBERG, Ore. - A day after winning their first two games of

bottom of the sixth but the Loggers answered back in the top of the
seventh on a RBI single by Brianna Huber (Chico, Calif.) to collect
the 5-3 win. Junior Auriel Sperberg (Spanaway,
Wash./Graham-Kapowsin) picked up the win for the Loggers, allowing
three runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts in seven innings pitched

the second on an RBI single by Appleby but GFU scored another in
the bottom of the second and then blew the game open with four in
the bottom of the fourth. The Bruins ended the game in the
sixth, using a walk-off two-run home run to collect the 9-1
victory.
