TACOMA, Wash. – Ten different players scored at least one goal as the Puget Sound women's lacrosse team capped its 2013 season with a 21-6 win over Linfield on Sunday. Caroline Cook and Grace Reid each led the Loggers (4-6) with four goals.

Reid scored her first goal just 33 seconds into the game on an assist from Rachael Silva and the Loggers never looked back. In the first two minutes and six seconds of the match, they were up 3-0.

Linfield (0-8) never pulled closer than two goals after the Loggers initial lead. Shelby Duarte scored four of the Wildcats' six goals, including all three in the first half. Back-to-back goals with 12:38 and 11:20 to go in the first half brought Linfield within two goals at 5-3, but the Loggers scored the final seven goals of the half to take a 12-3 lead into the locker room.

The Loggers continued to control the game in the second half as the lead reached double digits and stayed there the rest of the way.

Of the 10 Loggers to score a goal, six scored multiple times. Claire Mahoney added three goals while Kerri Smith, Jessica McDonald and Maddie Soukup each notched two goals for the Loggers.

Before their final game in maroon and white, the six Logger seniors were honored. Linnea Bostrom, Bradia Holmes, Hannah Lucke, Jessica McDonald, Grace Reid and Julia Schulman left the field together with under one minute to play and the game well in hand.

Bostrom made four saves in goal.

The Loggers finished the season 4-6 but return seven starters next year. However, the departing senior class includes a two-year starter in goal and the program's all-time leading scorer in Schulman.
