Krietzman scores, lacrosse drops one to Pacific

FOREST GROVE, Oregon – Roxanne Krietzman scored, but the Puget Sound lacrosse team fell to Pacific, 18-1, on Saturday afternoon.

Krietzman led the Loggers (5-7, 2-5 NWC) with her goal, while Elena Becker led the squad with six groundballs and seven caused turnovers. Ali Walker had a team-high three draw controls.  

The Loggers got on the board first, scoring just 50 seconds into the game. However, the Boxers (6-3, 3-4 NWC) scored the next 18 goals to take the Northwest Conference.  

Ally Benko (4-7) took the loss between the pipes, making 12 saves in 60 minutes.

The Loggers will next travel to George Fox on Sunday, April 23. The game is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m., and is the last game of the season.
