Loggers fall to Blues in first home game of the season

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's lacrosse team fell to Whitman, 18-5, in their first home game of the season.

Whitman got on the board first but the Loggers swiftly tied it up less than a minute later with a goal from Ella Frazer.

Frazer quickly scored another goal, leveraging Puget Sound to its only lead of the match.

Ali Walker and Deryn Gersoff notched two more goals for the Loggers before halftime.

With three minutes remaining in the game Walker tallied Puget Sound's fifth and final goal off an assist from Frazer.

The Loggers remain at home to take on Linfield Saturday, April 7, at 1 p.m.
