Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

RIVERSIDE, California – The Puget Sound softball team concluded its weekend in California with two losses against NAIA member La Sierra Sunday afternoon.

Puget Sound 3, La Sierra 5

Sullivan, a freshman, concluded a superb weekend despite the loss against the Golden Eagles. She worked six innings and allowed only three hits Sunday. Between her starts against La Sierra and Antelope Valley, Sullivan allowed only four earned runs in 13.0 innings – which amounts to a 2.15 ERA.

Trailing 3-0 entering the fourth inning, the Loggers (2-7) got on the board when Noelle Kerr scored on Jessica Shimoda's double. The Loggers got two more runs in the fifth inning when a base knock by Kerr scored both Abbi Wong and Marissa Oda.

Kerr finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Oda went 1-for-2 and drew a pair of walks.

Puget Sound 1, La Sierra 12 (5 inn.)

The Golden Eagles scored four runs in the third inning and six more in the fourth to overwhelm the Loggers.

Abbi Wong singled in the fourth inning, extending the freshman's hitting stream to seven games. Puget Sound scored its run in the fifth inning. Makenna Johnson belted a two-out double, and Jessica Shimoda followed with an RBI single.
