Box Score TACOMA, Washington - The Puget Sound men's soccer team was unstoppable in an 8-0 non-conference win against Multnomah on East Field Saturday afternoon.
Angel Herrera-Flores had remarkable game with three goals, one in the first half and two in the second. He crushed his third goal in the 53rd minute off a free kick from Sean Hamel and a headed assist from Lincoln Schell.
Cale Spence started it off for Puget Sound (2-0-1) by capitalizing on a penalty kick in the 12th minute. Later in the first half, Gabriel Faro-White buried a header off a cross from Sean Hamel.
At halftime the Loggers were up, 3-0.
In the 62nd minute, Freshman Jack Henderson scored his first-career goal, beating the defender one-on-one and striking the ball into the net.
Ethan Stern-Ellis had two saves against the Lions.
The Loggers next travel to Santa Cruz, California, for matches against Chapman (Sept. 13) and UC-Santa Cruz (Sept. 15).
