Box Score TACOMA, Washington - Hannah Bushing and Jenna Kisner had five goals each, lifting the Puget Sound lacrosse team to a 17-7 victory over Marian on Monday night.
The Loggers' (2-1) 17 goals are the most scored since April 2018 (17-13, vs. Pacific).
Emily LaRiviere also tallied four goals, and Lauren Mastin had four assists for the Loggers.
The Sabers (0-3) got on the board first, but the Loggers quickly answered back with a goal from Mastin assisted by LaRiviere in the 24th minute. Marian took a 2-1 lead for two minutes before the Logger offense erupted with seven consecutives. Kisner and Bushing accounted for six of those seven goals.
At halftime, Puget Sound was up 10-3.
Puget Sound goalkeeper Ally Benko recorded her first win of the season with eight saves.
The Loggers travel to Whitworth for more Northwest Conference action on Saturday, March 14.
