Box Score TACOMA, Washington - Sophomore Jenna Kisner scored the game-winning goal with 66 seconds left in regulation, lifting the Puget Sound lacrosse team to a 10-9 victory over Pacific in the first game of 2020 Wednesday afternoon in Baker Stadium.
Lauren Mastin, Maddie Hider, Milan Lam, and Kisner scored two goals each for the Loggers (1-0, 1-0 NWC).
Back-to-back goals by Luaren Mastin and Kisner gave Puget Sound a 9-7 edge with just over seven minutes left in regulation. However, the Boxers tallied two unanswered goals to ti the game, 9-9, with 4:35 on the clock. Over the next three minutes, both teams attempted a shot before Kisner netted the game-winner.
Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Almy had six saves for the Loggers.
Puget Sound remains at home to face Willamette Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m. in Baker Stadium.
