TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's basketball team's final Northwest Conference games of the year are this weekend in Parkland, Washington where Puget Sound takes on Pacific Lutheran, Feb. 26-27.

Last weekend (Feb. 19-20) Puget Sound split home games against Whitman. After going nearly seven years without a win over the Blues, the Loggers went 2-2 against the Blues this season.
Cal Hansen had a double-double in each of the home games against Whitman, giving him three for the season. Hansen leads the NWC in rebounding (8.8) and field-goal percentage (52.6-percent), and he ranks fourth in scoring (15.0).Ha
Paul Johnson enters the weekend averaging 11.6 points per game, which ranks No. 9 overall in the conference, and No. 2 amongst all freshmen. He has made the second-most 3-pointers (22) in the NWC so far this season.
The Puget Sound offense has been getting in a groove in recent weeks. To begin the season, the Loggers shot under 40-percent from the floor in five of the first six games. Through the last four games, however, Puget Sound has shot better than 45-percent. The Loggers posted field-goal percentages above 50-percent in the home series against the Blues.
Jourdan Joseph scored in double digits for four consecutive games before netting eight points in the recent win over Whitman (Feb. 20). Through the last five contests, Joseph is averaging 11.8 points per game.
