Puget Sound 7, Pacific 6
The Boxers claimed a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Loggers wasted little time in answering back. DeGuzman hit a one-out single in the bottom of the first inning and Savanna Smith followed with a single of her own.
Wong kept the hits coming with a single to left field, scoring DeGuzman.

The Logger bats kept it going in the second inning. Wong belted a two-run home run in the second inning. Lauren Rice led off with a single and DeGuzman reached base on four balls. The Logger duo pulled off a double steal, and Rice came in to score from third base on a throwing error by the catcher on the play.
With DeGuzman still on base, Wong belted a home run to center field.
Wong continued to drive in runs with an RBI single in the fourth inning, and Webster also delivered an RBI hit in the fourth.
Savanna Smith earned her third win of the season in the circle, and Sullivan notched her first save this spring.

The Loggers and Boxers combined to score five first-inning runs, with just one hit between the two teams. The Loggers scored all of their runs in the first.
A combination of errors, wild pitches, and aggressive base running allowed eight Loggers to come to the plate. Both Hailee Ueyama and Maria Ortiz scored on throwing errors, and Kerr registered an RBI groundout in that opening stanza.
Next week the Loggers are at Lewis & Clark, April 24-25.
