Box Score TACOMA, Washington – Emily LaRiviere scored a career-high seven goals to lead the Puget Sound lacrosse team to a 12-7 win against Whitworth on East Field Saturday afternoon.
The Loggers set the tone early by taking a 4-0 lead just 10 minutes into the game. Bee Bridge scored the first goal, and then LaRiviere rattled off three consecutive goals within a three-minute span.
She scored twice more in the first half – and her fifth goal of the game gave Puget Sound a 9-2 advantage at halftime.
Olivia Almy saw 17 shots and made 10 saves. Almy has now recorded double-digit saves in five consecutive games.
